1 year later....

Hello blogging world. Well, I am probably the worst blogger ever.  Seeing how i have not blogged in almost a year :/  I almost forgot I had a blog to be honest, okay I did forget and today as I am sitting here in our college library,  I decided to see what was in my google file and well I found that I have/had a blog.  With all honestly I feel like I either do not have the time or I simply have nothing to blog about.  Because as of right now my life has mostly been all school and therefore I do not have the time to write blog posts.  Even at that I write essays and they are something I dislike and I have a very hard time writing them. Truth be told, I have found it easier to not have to worry about some social media.  Pretty much i have gone over to snapchat for my social media, it is so much easier snapping a photo of something and not having to think about something to write for it.  I let the pic speak for its self.  Someday I may get back into blogging but for now I well continue to let you all think I am dead to the blogging history....

as you can see blogging is not a good idea for me because I'm still a rambler.

I'm Still Alive

Hello blogging world!!  Yes, I still happen to be alive. cough  Just in case you happened to wonder if I was dead.  Can't believe it has been 7 months since I lasted posted anything.  Yes, I am such a neglectful blogger.  I could make this a very exciting post on how the last time I posted I was leaving for that summer camp, and how I was captured by Captain Jack Sparrow! And joined him on great adventures! But alas no that is not the true story here.  The truth is I've just been neglectful and every time I started a blog post, I'd never finish it.

Sadly I will not be posting any photos with this post. So if you are all ready yawning from this little ramble of words,  may I recommend a cup of hot chocolate? With raspberry syrup, such a yummy drink it is.  If you choose not to read the rest, I still want to say Thank You for making it this far!

~Little facts of things that have been happening.  Two of them people might say would belong in the awkward group~

It's December!! 20 days until Christmas and 26 days until a new year is upon us. I hope that this last month of 2014 is wonderful in so many ways!

So, without further ado.  Let's start with the most recent shall we?  Happy belated Thanksgiving! Hope it was wonderful for y'all!  My Thanksgiving consisted of eating, going on a run with my cousin, going on a run by myself, helping mom in the kitchen make lots of yummy food, cleaning, more eating, playing a very quiet intense game of Spoons with family...

Our little hometown is getting much needed rain right now. Yay! Meaning it is snowing in Tahoe where I go snowboarding with my older brother.

Getting back into running. I've missed it so much.  My older brother and I are going to be doing a run next year called The Tough Mudder.  The so called toughest run on the planet. It is 10-12 miles, and it's not just a run it is an obstacle run....

Playing volleyball and coming away with a dislocated finger.  And not knowing it until after you are in the bathroom of a community collage, looking at your finger that is swelling and it looks like it is out of joint.   So instead of asking for help, you take hold of your finger and with great force you yank it upwards. And your ears are meant with a loud crack and your finger is meant with a pop. And you can feel everything go back into place.  Yeah, lucky for me I was in a bathroom that is less used and nobody was in it.

Setting on a bus with a young guy on my right, who with out warning leans over and with two fingers rubs the bottom half of my pant leg. He then pulls his hand away very fast and says "Oh, sorry, I just wanted to feel them" and looks straight ahead.  Lesson learned from this, is never wear corduroy pants on the bus, as they are a different kind of fabric. =P

Started listening to Christmas music!! I'm one of those people who CAN'T stand when radio stations are playing Christmas music like the first day of November.  I'm like "people please we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet!!"  Please tell me I'm not the only one?!

If you have made it all the way down to this point. I give you a huge round of applause!!! That's it for now!   Next post will be of past pictures....hopefully they will be posted before 7 months pass by...

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July y'all! Hope your 4th was wonderful!

Each year on the 4th of July, our little town puts together a foot race and parade. Well, the 10K they do goes right by the road we live on. My sister and I usually offer water for all the runners, or like last year we just hung out and watched all the runners run by. But this year my older brother and I decide to do something different.  And this is how it started.

My day started out waking up at 6 am, to go to Starbucks. =)  No walk is complete without stopping off at some coffee place. Yes, usually being Starbucks.  Brother L getting some sort of coffee thing and me getting a raspberry hot chocolate. Then we headed home and started out on our walk.  So before I get any further, I must say that about 2 feet before our house marks the 4 mile point for the runners. Now that, that is out of the way my brother and I walked to the 5 mile mark and waited for the first of the runners. The lead guy was super fast and even though he had just ran 5 miles he didn't even look tried. We watched, smiled, walked and made sure to not get in the runners ways. And so we walked to the finish line and headed back home. That being our 4th of July, 4 mile walk. Hey! 4th of July and 4 miles, I swear we did not plan that. After we made it back home. I did some packing (more about that in a moment).  Then brother L and I  headed out to our little town parade.  And now here I am writing this.  What a nice way to spend the morning with my older brother!

Okay, so about the packing part. I am going to a camp put on by the Worldview Academy.  It starts Sunday.  But mom and I are leaving sometime tomorrow, going to enjoy the 3 1/2 drive and not worry about having a time crunch. Yep, so I'm trying to get as much packing as I can done.  I will be gone for a week ; packing for a week is indeed different then packing for a weekend trip.  And where I am going it is going to be warm (okay, I guess in the 100's, would be hot), so I'm packing things that will be nice and light. Yeah, you get the point. How much can one talk about packing? =P  When I get back I will be sure and write about everything that happened.

Again, I hope y'all had a wonderful Fourth of July!!

Imagine...

Yes, I'm still alive. Hopefully soon I shall catch up on pics etc. But for now I shall leave you with the writing below.

It doesn't surprise me how fast the days, weeks and months go by.  When you wake up, you tell yourself all the things that you are going to accomplish.  But by the end of the day you didn't accomplish as much as you told yourself.  If you think about it, it is truly amazing how long this earth has been around.  I mean it dates on the way back before Christ! Sometimes I wonder if different places we visit, like stores or historical places were once places where some very famous people lived.  I mean how much can history books actually put into their books?  Like in the book of John chapter 21 verse 25.  It says: "Now there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one. I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written."

I guess what I am getting to is. What if everything about history was not written down? I think it is kind of cool to think of all the things that are unknown of our history.  Please imagine here for a minute. What if where your house is, was once a long time ago visited by, George Washington, Leonardo Da Vinci, James Stewart, Christopher Columbus, anyone you can imagine.  But at that time, the towns/city's we live in now, didn't have any names.  So we may actually be living in the very same spot that Christopher Columbus spent some of his time.  I mean think about it.  He explored so many places, but the history books find it a wast of time to say that maybe he lived in, Bailey Country, Maple town in Texas.  Because at that time when he was alive from 1451-1506 it wasn't called that. There was no such thing as Bailey Country, Maple town, or Texas, for that matter.

My brain likes to open up lots of tabs, right before I'm about to go to sleep. When people are supposed to be sleeping, my brain thinks it is time to be awake...please don't ask me why. :P  It was getting a bit late quiet a few weeks ago, but I told myself that it had been a little while since I last posted anything on my blog.  And well...I don't know, my brain dug up history and made me imagine these things up above...

And so what you just read, above was written last month. Yep, so you are reading in the past! Now, that is what I call cool! =)

Gluten Free Silver Dollar Size Pancakes

When it comes to breakfast, I'm not very creative with making new things. But this morning I decided to go ahead and make gluten free pancakes that have only 3 ingredients.

Ingredients:
1 banana, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons coconut flour and I added a bit of water because it was a bit to thick.

I will say that you have to really enjoy the flavor of banana. What I really like about these pancakes are: easy and fast to make, gluten free, and sugarless.

Seeing that I was in a bit of a hurry this morning, trying to get ready to go to my part-time job.  I didn't really put much time into these photos.  I just grabbed my camera and snapped away without thinking about the quality.  And then after the pancakes had been eaten and photos taken. I thought about how nice it would be to make a blog post about my breakfast.  And told myself that since I wasn't really happy with how the pics turned out, I wasn't going to make a post about my breakfast. But here I am writing this and sharing two pics...

Pancakes with syrup and apricot spread

All you do is creak 2 eggs beat them really well, take your banana break in half, mash the two together really well, add coconut flour and a little water. Sorry I didn't measure how much water I used.  And then you just cook them and eat them with whatever you feel like =)

I hope you will take the time to make these and tell me how you enjoyed them! =)
